It’s full steam ahead for the preparation of The Agora 41st Awards ceremony!

This much-awaited event is happening on October 27, 2021, a Wednesday.

However, for this year, the usual face-to-face pageantry will be different. It’s going to be one-of-a-kind in the history of The Agora Awards as the current health situation prevents holding of gatherings in grand venues like Okada Manila, The Manila Hotel, Grand Marriot Hotel as in the recent past.

The “New” Awarding Rites

This year will be a milestone as the culmination of this year-long search may be held either fully-digital or hybrid wherein some will participate online while others will be physically on the venue, strictly observing prescribed protocols.

Our lock-down lifestyle has forced everyone to live in the digital world where technology has become a dependable and indispensable partner to accomplish our daily tasks. Thus, the 41st ceremony will employ technology while preserving the tradition and core values of the prestigious The Agora Awards.

But just like in the past, that momentous night will still gather and proudly showcase illustrious Filipino marketers who have proven their mastery and non-conventional thinking while manifesting that distinctively Filipino spirit.

Four Phases of the Agora Awards

The Agora Awards has four carefully planned phases — the Search, Screening, Judging and the eventual Awarding. After its launch, entries were received and classified depending on the category. Each category has a Category Head who collated and summarized these entries. It’s a requirement for each Category Head to be a Certified Marketing Professional (CPM).

The Screening phase came next wherein entries were carefully reviewed and put together for presentation to the distinguished Screening Council, which painstakingly scrutinized and verified each entry.  Screening normally happens several times to come up with the top 5 finalists.

Then came the nerve-wracking Judging which identified the crème de la crème as the winners. Judges are The Agora Award Winners themselves who endured the same rigorous selection process.

The long and tedious process reaches a crescendo with the much-anticipated awards ceremony!

It’s in the Bag!

As the awards ceremony approaches a feverish pitch, all finalists are already considered winners in their own right for having passionately served their respective stakeholders with their marketing savvy.

The Agora Awards indeed remains to be the top-notch marketing accolade any Filipino marketing practitioner can aspire for.

Undoubtedly, The Agora Awards will continue to raise the stature of marketing excellence as the much-awaited 41st Awards ceremony soon unfolds!
